Week 9 Winner of Silhouette!

WOW!  The entries this week were great!  While I loved them all, Bree's caught my eye right off the bat as such a beautiful example of silhouette. I love the colors... the variations of orange agains the black silhouette of the trees.  Beautiful!

ISO Week 11: Faceless Self-Portrait

This week's theme is a fun one, and is going to be quite a challenge to be creative. See, I'm not feeling the creativity at the moment (or maybe I just don't wanna get my remote out) so I pulled one from the archives. Maybe I'll participate though and get myself thinking outside of the box!

Week 9: Silhouette {ISO: In Search Of}

This week's challenge is Silhouette.  I just love silhouette's, they are so much fun to photograph, albeit a bit tricky.  It's always fun to try new things, right?  Usually silhoutte's can be achieved while shooting in full sunlight, or backlighting by a window.  I love doing them for maternity sessions.

Week 7 Winner: Guilty Pleasure

So last week our readership and entries were down.  I blame the holiday weekend and kids going back to school.  The 2 entries were really hard to choose from because they involved 2 things I love, beer and cake.  But ultimately, Wendy won me over for the pure fact that she indulged in beer and a walleye sandwich for breakfast at the Great Minnesota Get Together (and made me drool since I didn't make it this year).  So congrats Wendy, grab your badge and thanks for playing along!

Knock, Knock...

Fellow ISO followers, it's me, Michelle!  Yep, Nicole and I are still alive.  We apologize for being silent here for the last week or so.  I've made the executive decision to call this week a "break" week.  With kids all over starting school (mine included) and lots of teachers heading back to work (Nicole), I think we could do with a little break in the creativity.  But, we'll be back on Sunday to announce next week's challenge: Silhouette.  So start thinking and creating for next week when the link goes live!  

And, as a special incentive to boost our fans on FB, when we reach 150 fans I will custom make a crochet hat for one lucky fan.  So tell your friends, family and people on the street to "like" ISO on FB.
